You can enjoy a community that offers different and fulfilling worlds

You may choose to head out your front door to take a stroll through the neighborhood along safe and scenic undulating paved roads. You might see your friends and neighbors as they get in their steps for the day or wave to them as you pass their home. You might stop and check in with them about the recent chili cook-off, Women and Wine gathering, book club, or upcoming dinner and theater night planned by our social committee. Whatever the occasion, neighbors know one another.

The diverse natural environment of Cedar Valley Ridge is simply enchanting

You might choose to head out your back door for a hike on over seven miles of beautifully maintained and marked trails. One day you might hike the trails through the majestic hardwood forest, traveling up and down glacial moraines. Another day, you might choose a quiet walk through the whispering pines or visit the water-filled kettle during springtime to listen to the harmonious sounds of peepers and migrating birds. Head through the meadow and down to the creek and immerse yourself in the cedar and tamarack forest and low lands. There you can walk the trails along the meandering waters of Cedar Run Creek while listening to the many sounds of nature.

At Cedar Valley Ridge, no matter which door you head out, the front or the back, you will discover and enjoy a community where people and nature are appreciated and live in harmony…a place where you can find fellowship and/or solace in nature’s beauty.

A Growing Community…

“After vacationing in Northern Michigan for many years, my husband and I chose Traverse City as a beautiful and vibrant place to not only retire but to also begin a new adventurous chapter of our lives.  We love living in our Cedar Valley Ridge neighborhood/community.  It is a great location for us…seven miles from town, restaurants, entertainment, and shopping but also just steps to a walk along beautiful wooded trails.  Our grown kids like visiting and walking our Cedar Valley Ridge trails with their significant others and pups.  I have a garden of veggies for the first time and my husband is enjoying working with neighbors on our CVR Roads and Landscape Committee.”
